Independence Day – July 4th
Cheers to a long weekend! If you are still looking for plans this 4th of July, consider heading to the great city of NOLA. With weather permitting, there will be fireworks on the river around 9 pm. The best spots to view the fireworks can be found at Woldenberg Park, Crescent Park and Algiers Point. ESSENCE Festival – June 30th – July 3rd
R&B, jazz, blues… it wouldn’t be summer in New Orleans without a music festival! The ESSENCE Festival is the nation’s premier showcase for African-American music and culture. Tales of the Cocktail – July 19th – July 24th
Tales of the Cocktail is the world’s premier cocktail festival and it’s obvious why! The most respected bartenders and mixologists will be in New Orleans to create, exchange and taste different ideas/techniques from the cocktail world.
